Welcome to the Grand National Trivia & Horse Racing Experience. The ultimate teambuilding experience based on the Aintree Grand National, held every April! In this thrilling experience, you and your colleagues will challenged to top the leaderboard in a series of ways, including horse racing-inspired quizzes and exciting race footage where you need to a winning horse based on the form. Using your mobile device, you can place your quiz answers and bets on your favorite horses and compete against other players for a spot on the leaderboard. The experience can be enjoyed as an individual or part of a team, you can get creative with the team name!
To join, all you need is a mobile device to scan the QR code provided, and you can create a team name to represent your group. Throughout the event, you will have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge of horse racing and collaborate with your team to strategize and maximize your points. The team and individual leaderboards will be updated in real-time, adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.
This teambuilding experience is designed to promote communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking. Get ready to race your way to the top of the leaderboard and experience the thrill of the Grand National like never before!
Your event organiser jumps onto Zoom 10 minutes prior to the start time of your event to discuss final preparations including the event timeline, your company branding on the platform and prizes etc!
Tell your guests to arrive 5 minutes early (so we can begin promptly on your event start time). They will gather in the waiting room and when ready we will let them into the main room lobby to socialise and chat amongst themselves.
Your host for the event will welcome everybody, explain the runnning order and the rules of the racing games and competition! Any intro from your organiser, company owner or birthday boy/girl can be arranged here also. In the background, our team will be playing tense horse racing themed music to excite your guests!
The Grand National is the most famous steeplechase horse race in the world. This quiz will challenge your group to see who knows their horse racing. All answers will be submitted via your phone on our unique platform. Each question will be followed by a set of multiple-choice answers, and you’ll have a limited time to respond. The faster you respond, the more points you will recieve as long as the answer is correct. Once the time is up, the crowd responses will be shown to see what percentage of the audience got the answer correct.
After all the questions have been answered, the winner will be revealed based on the highest score. So make sure you stay focused and answer as many questions correctly as you can!
The points from the trivia will be carried across to the second half of the experience. In this part, you and your team will be educated by the live host about horse racing form. You will then be tasked with studying the horses for each of the races and placing your bet on your mobile device. Spread your bets with your team or all choose to back one horse and maximise your points if you win.
Once all bets are in and the horse are ready, our guide will showcase the horse racing footage and you will be cheering your horse to victory (hopefully!). For each race, you will be awarded a set number of points, this is dependent on the odds of the horse in each specific race.
Once the Grand National Trivia & Horse Racing Experience comes to an end, guests return to the main room and eagerly await the final scores from the Trivia and the Races, these will be combined. Each winner is slowly revealed, along with with any team scores. Finally, we crown our overall race event winner and celebration ensues as we spotlight the video feed of the winner and prizes are handed out accordingly!
