Firstly, the event host will introduce all guests to the online call. Once guests have joined, the host will explain the rules. If more than 10 guests join, the host will randomly divide the players each with a host into breakout rooms.  

The host in the breakout room will share the gaming table, with each player typically starting with a stack of $1000 fun-money chips. Once the game begins, every player is dealt two cards face down – these are called your ‘hole cards’. We will then go around the circle and take your bets via the platform. You can either Check, Raise or Fold using the interface – every time a player raises, we go round again. This is called the pre-flop and you are making this first decision, based on your first hand (your hole cards).

Once the first round of betting has finished, three cards are dealt face up in the middle of the table, these are called the ‘Flop’. This will then encourage another round of betting.

Next, a fourth card is revealed, this is called the ‘Turn’. Once again, we fly around the circle for more betting fun.

Finally, the ‘River’ is placed on the table, this is your fifth and final card. Of course, encouraging another round of betting.

By this point, you will have a large pot of money on the table, some guests will not be playing as they will ‘Fold’ and the rest will have placed a ‘bet’ or ‘checked’.

The aim is to make the best hand possible with the FIVE cards on the table and your TWO cards.

At the end of the session, the hosts from each table will add the NET scores to the leaderboard showcasing the fun-money profit earnt, or lost by each player. Connect your team and see who wins the tournament in your team!
